On the 2014 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) “Top 50 under 50” list, PolyU has moved up to the eighth position. This comparison aims to identify the young up-and-coming higher education powerhouses in the global arena.

QS “Top 50 Under 50” is a ranking of the world’s top 50 universities established within the last 50 years, based on the highest performing young institutions in the QS World University Rankings. The criteria of QS World University Rankings are: academic reputation, employer reputation, student-to-faculty ratio, research citations, as well as international student and faculty ratios.
