PolyU has taken the lead in Asia to develop an entire virtual campus in Second Life, which was opened by Professor Timothy W. Tong, PolyU President, and Professor Suleyman Demokan, PolyU Vice President (Academic Development), at a ceremony held on 25 September.

The digital platform will provide both academics and students with exciting opportunities to enrich their teaching and learning experience.

In addition, PolyU played host to the Hong Kong Chapter of the SLActions 2009, the world’s first 48-hour non-stop research conference in Second Life, held from 24-26 September. Details >>
