Mr Zinc Lam (first from right in picture), 2003 & 2006 civil and structural engineering graduate, has been named one of the 2009 Ten Outstanding Young Persons in recognition of his entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm in environmental protection. Formerly a member of PolyU’s research team dedicated to the development of Eco-blocks, Zinc got the license from the University and started his own company to commercialize the technology.
