PolyU honours knowledge enterprises University deans reflect on humanities at forum | Three Deans of Humanities/Arts from local universities recently gathered at a forum to share their views on the true nature of humanities and its role in a technology-centred, knowledge-intensive, and highly commercialized society. They were Prof. James Lee, Dean of Humanities and Social Science of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; Prof. Hsiung Ping-chen, Dean of Faculty of Arts of the Chinese University of Hong Kong; and Prof. Huang Chu-ren, Dean of Faculty of Humanities (FH) of PolyU.
