Developed by students from PolyU’s Department of Computing, “Disabled Assistant System: Using RFID and Hand Detection technologies” recently took a gold award at the Hong Kong U-21 Internet of Things (IoT) Awards inaugurated by GS1 Hong Kong. This new award scheme aims to showcase innovation in the field and recognize pioneering enterprises and tertiary students for their contributions to the territory’s information and communications technology development.
