With a 4,000-strong running team, PolyU set yet another record in this year’s Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon and won the top prize of the “Most Supportive Group Award” for 6 consecutive years. Adding to the honour were the remarkable achievements of students Ho Lok-man and Chan Wai-tung - second runner-up in 10km Challenge Women’s Overall and Senior Category and champion in Half Marathon Men’s Junior Category respectively.

This year’s race was even more meaningful to PolyU runners as the team partnered with a social enterprise FOODSPORT for an initiative to convert runners’ calories burnt during the run into food units which would be donated to the needy through another social enterprise Food Grace.
