PolyU has leaped to the 23rd place in the newly released Times Higher Education “100 Under 50 Rankings”. Based on universities’ performance in teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry outcome, this exercise ranks the world’s top 100 institutions under 50 years old.
In another ranking exercise, the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2015, PolyU achieves high standing in the areas of Civil and Structural Engineering (ranked 11th), Architecture and Built Environment (ranked 12th), Art and Design (ranked 24th), Linguistics (ranked 35th) as well as Statistics and Operational Research (ranked 45th). The rankings are based on universities’ subject performance in terms of academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.
