Members of the University Grants Committee (UGC) paid a visit to PolyU on 14 May. Apart from touring the House of Innovation, they met with the University’s senior management who introduced them to PolyU’s major development. Representatives of the Faculty of Business and the Faculty of Engineering gave overview of their curriculum development and research and knowledge transfer efforts. More than 20 local and non-local students also shared with UGC members their learning experience at PolyU.
Besides, Mrs Marion Lai Chan Chi-kuen, Permanent Secretary for Education visited PolyU on 28 May. In addition to Homantin Halls of Residence, Mrs Lai toured the House of Innovation and the Jockey Club Innovation Tower to understand the University’s latest innovations and design education.
