PolyU has been ranked in top 100 in four academic disciplines at the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) 2014-15 Field Based Ranking. The University was named the world’s second best in Built Environment and Design and placed sixth in Commerce, Management, Tourism and Services. Other two top 100 disciplines were: Information and Computing Sciences (32nd) and Engineering (62nd).
The rankings were developed based on quality and quantity of publications and international research collaboration performance among 2,500 higher education institutes in the world.
