An intelligent robotic female torso dubbed “i.Dummy”, developed by Dr Allan Chan Chee-kooi at PolyU’s Institute of Textiles and Clothing, has earlier been named Winner in the Engineering and Technical Design category of A’Design Award and Competition in Italy. Through a user-friendly graphical user interface on a computer or smartphone via Bluetooth, i.Dummy can change immediately to adapt to almost any body shape, of any size or ethnic background.
