This summer, the University organized the Summer Programme 2015 for secondary school students to experience a taste of campus life at PolyU. The Programme was well attended by some 800 Secondary Four and Five students from about 100 schools.
Through various activities such as talks, lab tours, hands-on activities and experience-sharing, participants had the opportunity to learn a wide range of subjects offered by 18 academic departments. The subjects included: applied mathematics and physics, biology and chemical technology, building and real estate, business, engineering, health technology and informatics, hotel and tourism management, land surveying and geo-informatics, languages, nursing, optometry, rehabilitation sciences, social sciences as well as textiles and clothing.
