Prof. Carly Lam Siu-yin at the School of Optometry was presented the Bernard Gilmartin OPO Award by the College of Optometrists in London, UK, for the paper titled “Prevalence of myopia among Hong Kong Chinese schoolchildren: changes over two decades”. The paper was jointly presented with Dr Lam Chin-hang, Dr Sam Cheng Chi-kwan and Dr Lily Chan Yee-lai.
