As a new member of the Alliance of Sino-Russian Technical Universities (ASRTU) , PolyU has embarked on a new page of collaboration with Russian universities. ASRTU is formed by 42 elite engineering universities of China and Russia, with a focus on scientific cooperation, talent communication and mutual development of innovation economy.
This November, PolyU received a delegation from seven Russian member universities of the ASRTU. A research exchange seminar was organized where representatives of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in HKSAR and the Central People's Government Liaison Office, academics of PolyU, University of Macau and local universities exchanged views and shared experiences in scientific innovation.
