On 26 February, PolyU President Prof. Timothy W. Tong and Tongji University President Prof. Gang Pei signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of the PolyU-Tongji Shenzhen Institute for Advanced Studies. It aims to promote exchange and collaboration in the higher education sector and foster scientific research, the development of specialised schools in advanced innovation and industry incubation.
