Researchers garner natural science awards
Recently, four research areas jointly participated by PolyU researchers and institutions in the Chinese mainland have bagged one first-class award and three second-class awards in the Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Output Awards (Science and Technology) 2015.
Natural Science Award (First Class)
- Prof. Zhang Ming at the Interdisciplinary Division of Biomedical Engineering participated in “Biomechanical study of musculoskeletal injury, protection and rehabilitation”
Natural Science Award (Second Class)
- Dr Guo Hai and Dr Lam Ka-se at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering participated in “Study on the evolution trend and formation mechanism of regional photochemical pollution over complex terrain in South China”
- Prof. Choi Tsan-ming at the Institute of Textiles and Clothing participated in the study of “Theories, method, and application of game under uncertain environments"
- Dr Su Zhong-qing at the Department of Mechanical Engineering participated in the study of “Multiscale theories for structural damage identification"
