Recently, two PolyU-hosted fashion shows were staged at the Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer as event highlights. An Intimate Fashion Show was held to display exquisite intimate apparel collections designed by 12 graduating students. In addition, the creative works of another nine graduating students were exhibited at the Master of Arts Graduation Fashion Show.

Fashion design students also took part in a Service-Learning project where they partnered with ex-mentally ill people to design and produce clothing items for the “Fashion for a Better Future Extravaganza 2016”. Twenty impressive fashion prototypes were presented in a catwalk show and an exhibition. Students assisted disadvantaged people to build up self-confidence and regain own identity by expressing their design creativeness.
