This summer, some 120 students from the Department of Building and Real Estate participated in a fun project to apply their knowledge in building and construction. Based on the design of public rental housing in Hong Kong, the students successfully constructed a 250-square-feet simulated flat from scratch. The simulated apartment is composed of a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen.
