On 11 August, PolyU signed the Charter on Preferential Appointment of OSH Star Enterprises and agreed to appoint safety accredited refurbishment and maintenance contractors as part of the University’s commitment to health and safety. Launched by the Occupational Safety and Health Council, the charter aims to promote repair, maintenance, alteration and addition work safety for the protection of valuable workforce.
