At the President’s Welcome this year, Prof. Timothy W. Tong extended his warm welcome to all students, especially newcomers who have started off a momentous stage of their lives at PolyU. He encouraged students to pursue their dreams with hard work as well as to make use of their knowledge in serving the society.
PolyU will celebrate its 80th anniversary with different activities starting from November this year. President Tong said while saluting its amazing achievements in the past decades, the University should hold fast to its motto – “To learn and to apply, for the benefit of mankind”.
