Prof. Royce Yuen Man-chun was elected President of the Outstanding PolyU Alumni Association for the 2016-18 term. The newly elected members of the Board of Directors include Deputy President Dr Hubert Chan Chung-yee, Honorary Secretary Ir Prof. James Lau Chi-wang, Honorary Treasurer Mr Richard Sun Po-yuen, Immediate Past President Prof. Kenneth Pang Tsan-wing, and directors Ir Dr Chan Fuk-cheung, Ir Chan Siu-hung, Prof. Johnny Ng Kit-chong, Mr Michael Tsui Kam-fai, Ir Wong Tit-shing and Prof. Philip Yeung Kwok-wing.
President Prof. Yuen will lead the association in organising and participating in various activities in celebration of the University’s 80th anniversary. Plans in the pipeline include a signature networking event in Spring, the 11th Outstanding PolyU Alumni Award Presentation Ceremony in April, the annual master class speaker forum in fall and a year-long master class mentorship programme.
