On 12 January, PolyU launched the "Vision of Love Mobile Eye Care Project" to offer eye healthcare services for the needy. With the generous support of Miss Cally Kwong, University Fellow and member of the Governing Committee of the PolyU Foundation, the "Vison of Love Fund" was established in supporting the Project with donations amounting to HK$3.8 million. Under the Project, a seven-seater is turned into a mobile eye care utility equipped with advanced vision screening equipment, enabling the School of Optometry's expert team and students to extend outreach vision screening services to different districts in Hong Kong.
