Kristina Barbara Maria Braun, recipient of this year's "The Most Outstanding PolyU Student" award, is a student in hotel management from Germany. Kristina has joined the Elite Management Programme co-hosted by the School of Hotel and Tourism Management and Hotel ICON, undertaking training and internship in different departments of Hotel ICON for 11 months. During the period, she designed a creative cake box with transparent packaging, which has since then been used at the GREEN restaurant in Hotel ICON.
