PolyU jointly hosted the “Healthy Oceans – Healthy Coast” international conference with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the International Ocean Institute and the Shenzhen World Health Foundation. The event saw active participation of representatives from the government and academia, discussing the challenges and opportunities facing ocean and coastal areas, as well as exploring ways to promote conservation and sustainable use of oceans and their resources.
