Five PolyU students who excel in academic performance, communication skills and possess a passion in innovation and technology received the prestigious Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award 2017 organised by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and jointly sponsored by the Innovation and Technology Commission and the Hongkong Bank Foundation. The student awardees are:
- Isaac Fong Chun-kit, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences
- Fung Wai-yin, Department of Health Technology and Informatics
- Lui Wing-lam, School of Nursing
- Ngan Man-ching, Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology
- Yeung Ching-yee, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences
Each awardee will receive a scholarship of maximum $150,000 for joining a series of programmes, including overseas attachment, mentorship, service project and local internship.
