Congratulations to the PolyU men’s team for winning the PolyU・King’s Flair Group Asian Universities Invitational Basketball Tournament! With eight elite basketball teams from Asian universities competing in Hong Kong, the Tournament is one of the major events of PolyU’s 80th Anniversary celebrations.
The preliminary round of the Tournament saw a series of exciting matches, resulting in the heated final match between PolyU and Taiwan University of Science and Technology on 17 June. At last, PolyU bagged the championship, with Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Nanyang Technological University came in second, third and fourth place respectively.
