On 15 July, PolyU and Mingxi Charity Foundation Limited jointly organised the Belt and Road Youth Forum in Beijing, with the objective in promoting youth cultural exchange in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and countries along the silk road. With the participation of some 130 students from seven universities, the Forum is a celebratory event of PolyU’s 80th Anniversary, as well as one of the programmes under the Silk Road International Summer School organised by PolyU in collaboration with Xi’an Jiaotong University.
