To enhance young people’s interests in science and engineering, the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering organised the “Robotic Challenge Junior 2017: Robot Hunter” this summer. Before the challenge took place, a series of workshops on robot design, programming and 3D printing was conducted for some 180 secondary school students.
The participants formed 40 teams to build robots with their creativity and compete against each other in the “capture the flag” fight at the finals. A full-filled robot group dance was also staged at the event. Details>>
