Distinguished personalities conferred University Fellowships

PolyU bestowed University Fellowships on the following seven outstanding individuals on 30 January in recognition of their significant contributions to the University and the community.

• Prof. John Chai Yat-chiu, JP, Managing Director of Fook Tin Group Holdings Limited
• Mr Chung Po-yang, SBS, OBE, JP, an accomplished entrepreneur and keen educator
• Mr Lang Lang, internationally renowned pianist, educator and philanthropist (conferred in December 2017)
• Mrs Stella Lau Kun Lai-kuen, SBS, JP, Headmistress of Diocesan Girls’ School
• Ms Ng Yuet-lau, renowned painter
• Dr Henry Tan, BBS, JP, LHD, Chief Executive Officer of Luen Thai International Group
• Mr Yau Kwok-fai, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Vantage International (Holdings) Limited
