Pooling strengths of PolyU and AMTD, the AMTD FinTech Centre of PolyU’s Faculty of Business was established on 19 April, as officiated by Secretary for Innovation and Technology of HKSAR Mr Nicholas W. Yang and witnessed by Chairperson of the Global Advisory Committee of AMTD Group Dr Annie Wu.
Backing up by some 200 academics of PolyU’s Faculty of Business in various disciplines, the Centre will conduct FinTech related research, provide consultancy and training services, support start-ups, facilitate exchange among local, Chinese mainland and overseas experts, and offer FinTech education for students, financial personnel and the public. The Centre will also gain support from cross-disciplinary experts of PolyU faculties/departments and the industry led by the AMTD Group. Details>>
