Student Lau Wing-sum from the Department of Health Technology and Informatics received the prestigious Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award 2018 organised by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and jointly sponsored by the Innovation and Technology Commission and the Hongkong Bank Foundation. Wing-sum was awarded for her excellence in academic performance, communication skills and passion in innovation and technology. She will receive a scholarship of maximum $150,000 for participating in overseas attachment, mentorship and local internship programmes as well as service projects.
