Jointly organised by PolyU’s Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, DNT FPV Drone Hong Kong Association and EGG Technology Ltd, the “EIE Robotic Challenge Junior 2018: Flying Robot” saw the participation of a total of 77 teams comprising over 270 primary and secondary school students.

The Challenge not only aims to stimulate students’ interests in technology and engineering, but also develop their creativity in solving problems. Prior to the competition, students took part in a series of workshops on robot-building, programming, 3D printing and drone operation, to prepare for the creation of their unique robots for the “Flying Robot” and “Penalty Kick” challenges at the finals.
