PolyU recognises outstanding students by granting scholarships on the basis of academic merit or non-academic achievements. This year, a total of 113 non-local students from 16 countries and regions received entry scholarships at the award ceremony held on 23 August. Addressing the ceremony, President Prof. Timothy W. Tong encouraged the scholarship recipients to seize every opportunity to broaden their international perspective and build their social network during their university life.
