A Memorandum of Understanding signed by PolyU and Shenzhen University with 10 other universities and enterprises will lead to the establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Rail Transit Joint Innovation Union. The objective is to facilitate rail engineering research collaboration and between universities and industry, contributing to the development of rail transit systems in the region.
Capitalising on the strengths of all participating institutions, the Union will conduct research projects on the safe operation and maintenance of the rail transit systems in the Greater Bay Area. The Union will also play a pivotal role in nurturing talent as well as enhancing rail engineering technology transfer and commercialisation of the research outcomes in the region and beyond. Details>>
