Summary
Hong Kong String Orchestra (HKSO) is the one and only professional string orchestra in Hong Kong offering international mentorship programme to local music graduates. The Orchestra will start the programme with arrays of string trainings so as to prepare for the finale concert on 3 March 2017 at Jockey Club Auditorium, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
If you got grade 5 or above in violin/ viola/ cello/ double bass, and you expect proper training from HKSO, urge for a valuable opportunity to perform with a professional orchestra, act fast to enrol! You may have a chance to shine on stage with laureate conductor in residence Tan Dun and other selected elite students from 8 local universities for a Joint-University concert on 11 March 2017 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Requirements / terms & conditions:
1. Grade 5 or above in the instrumental training is required.
2. Shortlisted applicants may require to provide a video clipping of two works of their own choice from different periods: baroque/classical/romantic/modern.
