PolyU Choir Cambridge Exchange Programme 2018

Joint Performance of D Scarlatti’s Stabat Mater in the Season of Lent by the PolyU Choir and St Catharine's College Choir. In the Exchange Concert, PolyU Choir also performed Chinese Folk Songs rearranged by Contemporary Composers.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Choir (PolyU Choir) is set to have another cultural exploration in Cambridge, UK, with a joint performance with St Catharine’s College of the University of Cambridge, giving choir members a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform a sacred music repertoire with a Cambridge choir at one of the acoustically finest chapels in the United Kingdom.

The PolyU Choir, under the baton of voice master Chan Siu-kwan, fields a group of choral lovers make up of students, staff and alumni from different faculties and schools; 19 selected members will revel in this opportunity of joining the Cambridge Exchange Programme, thus deepening their cross-cultural understanding over continents.
