The Excellent Teachers on Teaching Excellence (ETTE) Symposium 2025, one of PolyU’s most significant university-wide teaching and learning events. This symposium provides a valuable platform for educators, teachers, and students to exchange insights and experiences in learning and teaching. Please mark your calendar, and I warmly encourage you to join us at this exciting event.

The ETTE Symposium 2025 will be a full-day hybrid event, focusing on the theme:
"Strategic Planning in Higher Education: Learning and Teaching Perspectives"

This year’s Symposium will explore three key sub-themes:
1. Transformative learning experiences for an unpredictable future
2. Transdisciplinary education for tackling complex and emerging local, national, and global challenges
3. Trans-sector collaboration for future-ready graduates

The event will begin with my Welcome and Opening Address and Introduction of PolyU’s Strategic Plan for Learning and Teaching (2025–2031) as well as our Graduate attributes. We are privileged to feature a Panel Discussion by international university leaders addressing the main theme, followed by a Panel Discussion by PolyU student representatives sharing their transformative learning experiences. In the afternoon, there will be two more engaging panel discussions by academic experts on transdisciplinary education and by industry experts on trans-sector collaboration and university-industry partnerships.
