Integrating technology in educational settings is a possible way to motivate students to learn in foundation practical fashion training courses. However, it is not solely dependent on the tools themselves but rather on how these tools are utilised to improve student learning. In this session, Dr Nico Liu, recipient of 2024 President’s Award for Outstanding Young Teacher, will share her experiences in designing some innovative and interactive teaching pedagogies, proven effective to optimise the engagement and learning outcomes of students, if provided with sufficient resources, an interactive learning experience, and a positive learning environment.
