In this workshop, we will examine:
· how to utilize online resources for collaborative learning and teaching
· how to create a rubric that helps nurture skills and habits for lifelong learning
· how to align students’ expectations via feedback
· other innovative uses of the rubric
Eric Tsui will share how he has successfully used Personal Learning Environment and Network (PLE&N) and its rubric to encourage lifelong learning among his students while he was teaching at ISE. He will also share how other departments have adopted the approach.
