This is an in-person only workshop with in-class activities and seats are strictly limited. Priority will be given to academic/teaching staff who signed up for the whole day event.

Speaker's bio:
Dr Ray Taheri is a highly esteemed educator whose significant contributions have profoundly impacted higher education pedagogy, particularly in the realms of engineering design and human-centred design thinking. With an illustrious career spanning nearly two decades, Dr Taheri holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the prestigious University of Saskatchewan, Canada.

He has conducted over one hundred workshops, seminars, and talks on international platforms and has played a crucial role in shaping the discourse surrounding pedagogical advancements.

Dr Taheri has received numerous teaching awards, including Teaching Excellence (2011), Honor Roll Teaching awards (2011-2014), Provost Award for Teaching Excellence and Innovation (2015), "I am Accessible" Award (2016), "Golden Apple" (2016), Outstanding Service (2019), Life Raft Debate (2019-2021), and the 2022 Educational Leadership Award. Dr. Taheri stands as an exemplary figure in educational leadership and innovation.
