For the past seven years, Ian Holliday has served as Vice-President (Teaching & Learning) at the University of Hong Kong. For the past two years, he has been a member of the Hong Kong University Grants Committee. For the past year, he has chaired the Universitas 21 Educational Innovation Cluster Steering Group. Previously, he was Dean of Social Sciences at the University of Hong Kong (2006-11) and Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences at City University of Hong Kong (2004-06). He has lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1999.
