Dr Chan is the deputy School Learning and Teaching Committee chair. She is the project leader of the Virtual (VR) Hospital. Subsequently, two TDGs were received to develop more immersive VR scenarios including the one using an interprofessional approach. To promote knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship, the VR Hospital team has commercialized the prototype. Recently, a purchase agreement was signed with another education institute. Dr Chan is passionate in other teaching innovations, such as online games and clinical education pedagogies. Dr Chan also has extensive experience in interprofessional education. She was a project leader of a MOOC course and integrated it flipped class to the faculty subject Freshman Seminar.
