EDC provides professional and secretarial support to the LTC and its subcommittees. We support all aspects of the LTC’s work:
- supports the LTC in administering funding for teaching development and supports frontline teachers’ participation in teaching development projects
- conducts research, reviews, consultations and pilot studies and develop discussion papers to facilitate the development of learning and teaching policies by the LTC
- provides services that support the implementation of policies introduced by the LTC and handles enquiries about those policies
- organises events and activities to promote teaching excellence under the auspices of the LTC (e.g. Excellence Teachers on Teaching Excellence symposium)
