The PhD programme at the School for Accounting and Finance at PolyU is a rigorous and structured doctoral programme that trains students to make significant contributions on topics related to accounting and finance. The duration of this programme is typically between 3 to 4 years. Our programme encourages diversity, with current and former students from Hong Kong SAR, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Tunisia. A unique feature of our programme is that our students have the flexibility to engage in research in accounting, finance, or both. Our faculty works closely with the students to guide them in publishing in top academic journals. For example, our faculty collaborates actively work with students on research projects. - Initial application to the Research Grants Council (RGC) through the HKPFS Electronic System to obtain a HKPFS reference number (Application Period: 1 September 2023 at 12:00 noon Hong Kong Time to 1 December 2023 at 12:00 noon Hong Kong Time.)
- Full application to PolyU via Web Application System
