Committed to making a difference to the lives of children with special educational needs, Mr Ernest Chan Ho-sing is a social entrepreneur who founded AESIR – a Global Top 500 Tech Startup using AR and VR technologies to create gamified learning solutions for people with dyslexia, autism and other special needs. By developing mobile apps and motion sensor games, as well as introducing Hong Kong’s first AR positive psychology playbook, AESIR not only supports students’ learning but also enhances their life skills and emotional literacy. With the technological innovation he introduced, Mr Chan has led AESIR to win a string of awards, including a silver medal and Special Inventor Award in the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada (iCAN) 2018.
