Mr Eric Chan Chiu-wang is an accomplished graphic designer and corporate identity consultant with an illustrious career that has spanned for over three decades. He has received more than 380 honours at home and abroad, including a nomination for Yellow Pencil by Design and Art Direction (D&AD) in the UK, ONE Show Design Gold Award in the US, Best of the Best Award from the Japan Typography Association Annual Awards, Gold Award from the HKDA Awards, and the International Poster Triennial Gold Award. After graduating from PolyU in 1981, Mr Chan honed his skills at Grapho Studio, Leo Burnett, and Bates Hong Kong. In 1991, he founded Eric Chan Design Co. Ltd., a consultancy firm specialising in corporate and brand identity, visual identity, company brochures, and packaging. Keen on contributing to his professional community, Mr Chan once served as a Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA). He is currently a full and fellow member of HKDA, an awarded member of D&AD, an overseas full member of the Japan Typography Association, and a full member of the US Type Directors Club. Being an active player and a highly-regarded veteran in Hong Kong’s design industry, Mr Chan is also committed to nurturing the next generation of designers.

Mr Ajax LAW Ling-kit

Mr Ajax Law Ling-Kit earned his bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from PolyU in 1999. His works are theme-driven, commercially effective, and loaded with artistic style, materialising his vision in interior spaces like cinemas, restaurants, retail shops and private clubhouses. Mr Law had already been a recipient of various industry awards before graduation, including the Grohe Asia Design Award, Hong Kong Designers Association Global Design Award, and Asia Pacific Interior Design Award. In 2004, he co-founded One Plus Partnership Limited, which went on to win over 800 international accolades, including two Gold awards from iF Design Awards, and two Best of the Best awards from the Red Dot Design Award. In 2014, Mr Law even made it to the JCI Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Selection, as well as the annual list of Ten Outstanding Designers. His worldwide recognition has earned him invitations to be a judge for prestigious design competitions, such as the INSIDE World Festival of Interiors in Amsterdam, K-Design Award in South Korea, Young Pin Award in Taiwan, and CODA awards in the US. Apart from being a columnist for MRRM Magazine, Mr Law also had his works shown in the Venice Biennale 2016, and featured on the covers of famous trade magazines such as Frame in the Netherlands and Interior Design in the US.

Prof. Yanki C. Lee graduated from PolyU with a PhD degree in 2007, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design in 1996, and a Diploma of Design in 1993. She also pursued a Master of Arts degree in Architecture at the Royal College of Art in the UK. Prof. Lee is a globally renowned speaker, a design research scholar, as well as a social innovator. She founded two design collectives, namely Exhibit at Golden Lane Estate CIC in London, and Enable Foundation, a registered charity in Hong Kong. To tackle social issues leveraging design research and implementation, she conducts social design projects funded by the HKSAR Government and The Hong Kong Jockey Club. A Visiting Professor at Design School Kolding in Denmark and Linnaeus University in Sweden, Prof. Lee has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, and articles.

Mr Kong Ming is the CEO of TG0, a London-based technology company specialising in products for human-machine interaction. A product designer by education, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design (Industrial and Product) from PolyU in 2013 before earning his dual Master’s degrees in Design and Engineering from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art. Following his passion, Mr Kong worked in central Europe for companies such as Nestlé, Takram London, and Anythingby Studio during the early stage of his career. Spearheading TG0 projects for some of the most prolific brands in automotive, gaming and consumer electronics sectors, he has accumulated considerable expertise in electronic products and mass production. After securing funding from Series A, Mr Kong switched to focus more on business development and team building. TG0 is backed by venture capitalists, including Amadeus Capital Partners, and has received grants and awards from the Royal Academy of Engineering and Innovate UK. In 2021, TG0 was recognised as a fast-growing tech company on the Deloitte UK Fast 50 list, ranking 35 overall, and was named the top company on the list in terms of hardware.
