On 1 October 2022 morning, PolyU held a flag-raising ceremony on campus in celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. With a mood of elation on this special occasion, exclusive campus tours were organised subsequently for participating alumni, their families and friends.
The participants were divided into two groups, touring around designated spots on campus: PolyU Main Entrance, Alumni Atrium, Stephen Cheong Kam Chuen Memorial Plaza, Pao Yue-kong Library, Jockey Club Innovation Tower, as well as the footbridge connecting the Main Campus with Block Z. They valued the opportunity of returning to their alma mater for such an important ceremony, and were pleased about the various new developments on campus.
