Industrial Centre (IC) is one of the popular spots on campus. The second guided tour to this “Technical Library” was successfully held on 20 October 2022, attended by more than 30 alumni who practise different professions.
The participants met up at the Alumni Atrium, where they signed on a big birthday card for their alma mater, and posed for a group photo in front of the recently installed LED wall. They then visited PolyU Main Entrance, Stephen Cheong Kam Chuen Memorial Plaza, Chan Sui Kau & Chan Lam Moon Chun Square, as well as the Jockey Club Innovation Tower.
After entering IC, the group not only enjoyed showcases related to robot workshop, immersive technologies and smart energy, but also got to see in person how the newly launched 3D concrete printing works. They were thrilled to know that the first 3D concrete printer in Hong Kong is housed at PolyU. Touching and examining the products on site was especially intriguing.
