Biography
Dr. Lo’s research is focused on child and family victimization, addiction and gaming disorder. She is trained in psychology and social work, and she has extensive clinical practice in addiction counseling and working with adolescents with gaming disorder and their affected others. Her research is driven by the interplay between her clinical experience and empirical research, and she has a strong commitment to developing high-quality research that generates findings to inform practice. By bridging practice and research, she has led investigations to develop innovative interventions, including mobile-health and attachment-based interventions, that are designed to bring direct impact on prevention of victimization and addiction. Dr. Lo also actively engages in interdisciplinary collaborations to further enhance the impact of her research.
