<<PolyU Summer Institute 2024 - 3D Printing Lightweight Structure Game at BRE>>
As part of the signature event ‘PolyU Summer Institute’ in July, following the welcome remarks by Prof. Ni Meng, Associate Dean (Research) of the Faculty of Construction and Environment (FCE) and Chair Professor of BRE, over 100 students participated in a thematic 3D printing lightweight structure game at the Building Technology Laboratory of BRE. They learned how to effectively utilise 3D printing technology to create lightweight structures. This engaging activity showcased the integration of advanced technologies into our curriculum and the construction industry.
The feedback was very positive, with students thoroughly enjoying the event and gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
