We were delighted to welcome Ar Michael LI, JP, Director and Sr Alan SIN, Deputy Director from the Architectural Services Department of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, along with the dedicated team on 3 Oct.
The visit commenced with a warm welcome from our Head, Prof. Michael YAM, followed by insightful presentations from BRE academics, including Prof. Heng LI, Dr JoonOh SEO, Dr Kelvin HEUNG, Dr CHI Hung Lin, Dr Shuai HAN and Dr Yiwei WENG. They shared their research endeavors on:
- Landlink: 4S construction site communication and monitoring solution
- Advanced wearable sensing devices and exoskeleton suits for smart construction
- Teleoperation and training of tower crane with immersive technologies
- Autonomous 3D concrete printing technologies for construction
What’s more, the guests had the opportunity to explore our cutting-edge technologies through visits to our laboratories. They experienced innovations in Landlink, Motion Platform, Smart Tower Crane, 3D printing and exoskeleton.
